Assistant Buyer, European Retail

Michael Kors is looking for an Assistant Buyer to support the buying team in managing our growing Franchise business. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Generate weekly sales reports and analyze business trends to maximize opportunities and profitability.
* Maintain assortment sheets, update pricing, and reconcile orders.
* Recommend reorders for best sellers and provide insights to grow the business.
* Support merchandising guidelines, top investments, and product knowledge sharing with partners.
* Assist in analyzing market trends and preparing selling insights to optimize assortment.
* Organize seasonal markets and confidently present collections to franchise partners.
* Support order insertion and follow-up with relevant parties.
* Track merchandise memos, support order replacements, and update OTB files.
* Collaborate with buying, planning, operations, and VM teams to execute merchandising strategies.
* Assist with marketing campaign support and partner visits.
* Coordinate with operations on shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
* Strong Excel skills and computer literacy.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse cultures.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with financial acumen.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Fashion sense and knowledge of current trends.
