Santander Consumer Finance focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Santander Consumer Finance is looking for a Risk Monitoring Analyst based in our Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) office.
\n

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Analysis, consolidation and challenge of main credit risk metrics (S, Provisions, Cost of Credit...) as well as rest of risks (counterparty, market and liquidity, non-financial risks...) for units within Western Hub scope.
\n
Synthesize and elaborate key messages for senior management, helping to develop Western Hub regulatory and management reports.
\n
Support, collaborate and coordinate the implementation of different projects at local level, identifying main workstreams with its correspondent owners and monitoring its progress.
\n
Execute Strategic plans and budgeting processes.
\n
Execute and ensure the correct performance of local month end provision calculation/forecasting processes.
\n
Specific/Ad-hoc analysis of portfolio ´s performance.
\n
Regular communication and coordination with different departments/local units.
\n
Produce and automate reports/presentations/supporting materials related to WH Risk Monitoring for different forums and stakeholders (internal and external).
\n

Professional Experience Experience in Risk Control and Monitoring functions, especially in credit risk and portfolio ´s analysis (Required) Experience with IFRS models (Preferred) Experience in a local business unit is valuable (Preferred) Education Bachelor's degree in economics, business, engineering, science, technology or mathematics (Required) Languages High level of written and oral communication skills in English (Required) Hard Skills Basic / Medium level of programming (SAS programming, Python...) and data management (SQL, Access...)
