Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and looking to contribute to efficient financial operations? Join our team as a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll and accounts payable processes!
Key Responsibilities
* Support biweekly payroll processing in Infor Workforce Management and ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Collaborate with Supervisors and HR to review employment changes and work with both internal and external customers regarding payables.
* Perform data entry, systems administration, and payroll processing as assigned.
* Manage direct deposit setup, tax withholdings, and process payroll garnishments, deductions, and corrections.
* Review employee timesheets for accuracy, ensuring the timely export/import of pay data batches.
* Assist with the calculation and processing of employee advances as needed.
* Respond promptly to time-sensitive payroll issues.
* Create and review spreadsheets, reports, and related documentation.
* Conduct system data audits and support reporting needs.
* Perform accounts payable functions, including invoice verification, coding, and processing payments.
* Support additional accounting and finance tasks as needed.
Requirements
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven dependability and reliability.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong aptitude for systems, including ERP, HRIS, payroll, time, and attendance systems.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
* 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
* Experience with accounts payable processing and fixed asset systems.
* Familiarity with payroll systems like Infor CloudSuite and ADP Workforce Now (preferred).
* Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with adaptability to new systems and processes.
