WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Planning management: Define scope, develop schedules, and manage timelines.
* Resource management: Coordinate the technical team and manage suppliers.
* Budget control: Monitor expenses and negotiate contracts.
* Risk management: Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
* Stakeholder communication: Keep clients and relevant parties informed.
* Quality and compliance oversight: Ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
* Implementation coordination: Oversee installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
* Project closure: Evaluate results, deliver documentation, and formally close the project.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the programmatic and financial management of international projects in the space sector, with a particular focus on European satellite navigation and security programs such as Galileo, EGNOS, LEOPNT, and QKD. Ideally, you will have a background in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Aeronautics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
* Engineering degree: Preferably in Telecommunications, Aerospace, Electronics, or similar.
* Project Management certifications: Such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2, demonstrating expertise in managing technical projects.
* Previous experience: In defense, telecommunications, or space infrastructure projects, ideally in a similar environment.
* Advanced English: The work environment is international, involving meetings with teams from different countries, and all documentation is written in English.
