We are seeking a talented Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team at the Soho House Barcelona properties. You will balance our Guest service and company ethos to deliver the best possible experience.

The venues
Soho House Barcelona overlooks the Port Vell marina. The House features a private Members Club, various restaurants, bars and a roof top pool along with a Health Club, 56 bedrooms and a private screening room. Little Beach House Barcelona has 17 rooms, Private Club with a Mediterranean restaurant facing the beach and ample sunbed space by the sea. La Caseta is our chiringuito, open to the public and the perfect place to enjoy the Soho House experience. A new Pool House is coming next year - a beautiful modernist House for our members, complete with restaurants, swimming pool and a Health Club.
Responsibilities
* Promote Soho House and its concept, whilst achieving the highest Member and Guest satisfaction.
* Ensure Soho House standards and the agreed department standards are always met.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with Soho House Members.
* Provide a professional and enthusiastic reservations service to both Members and non-Members, for individual and group enquiries.
* Be fully aware of all reservations systems in order to maximize Soho House Barcelona average room rates and occupancy.
* Have very good knowledge of the bedrooms' layout as well as their features and equipment.
* Have very good Hotel / Club product knowledge in order to increase sales whenever possible.
* Have very good knowledge and understanding of the restaurant operation in order to provide Guests and Members with accurate information, increasing sales whenever possible.
* Have very good knowledge of the neighborhood and surroundings areas in order to assist Members and Guests with their queries.
* Ensure good communication with the Reservations Manager, Front Office Manager and all departments with Guests' special requests and feedback, whether positive or negative.
* Take responsibility for provisional reservations, ensuring all are sorted in good time.
* Take responsibility for ensuring room-type overbookings are sorted in good time.
* Ensure group enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner and approved by the Reservations Manager and House Manager.
Qualifications
* Degree in Tourism or Hospitality.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
* Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan.
