Description
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Sales and Market development activities in Iberia for the Bars & Rods (B&R) products of ArcelorMittal Long Europe. Your mission will be to achieve ambitious sales targets, expand market presence, and build strong, long-lasting customer relationships across Iberia.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Lead and manage sales targets to achieve KPIs related to growth, market share, customer satisfaction, from our Long product mills in Spain and in rest of Europe.
* Drive sales in the Wire Rod and drawn-wire segment, ensuring strong market penetration and customer loyalty.
* Manage key accounts and develop new business opportunities in line with the company's strategic priorities.
* Support activities including production planning, receivables follow-up, and claims management in a matrix organization.
* Provide the B&R Business Optimization team with analyses and reports on sales metrics and market intelligence.
* Support product development in partnership with the Product Development team and relevant mill functions.
Profile and Qualifications
* Professional experience: Minimum 10 years in B2B sales of long products, preferably with a proven track record in selling Wire Rod or drawn-wire products in the Iberian market.
* Education: Degree in Engineering or Economics; a Business Management degree would be an advantage.
* Market knowledge: Strong understanding of long products and in-depth knowledge of the Wire Rod market in the Iberian market is a must.
* Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is necessary. Additional European languages (e.g., Portuguese, French or German) are an advantage.
* Commercial acumen: Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders. Proven track record in managing key accounts.
* Technical knowledge: Familiarity with Steel making technologies & EAF-based steel products such as Quality Wire Rod and drawn wire.
* Willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time (primarily within Spain and Portugal).
