Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing a global procurement strategy for Transport, Packaging, Warehouse Equipment, and Forklifts/AGVs, aligned with corporate goals and regional requirements
2. Leading supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and long-term value creation
3. Managing strategic supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews, and initiating continuous improvement measures
4. Acting as functional lead for the global NPM Logistics team, fostering cross-regional collaboration and capability building
5. Supporting the roll-out and optimization of digital procurement and logistics solutions (e.g., TMS, SAP)
6. Providing cost estimates and driving savings initiatives in close cooperation with Direct Material Purchasing and Sales
7. Preparing and maintaining reports on procurement performance, savings achievements, and supplier KPIs
8. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and contributing to audits and risk assessments
9. Collaborating in cross-functional projects with logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to enhance end-to-end efficiency
Qualifications:
10. Degree or vocational training in logistics, procurement, or a related field
11. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in transport or logistics procurement
12. Proficient in SAP and Excel; experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
13. Strong negotiation skills and fluent communication in English
14. Team-oriented mindset with intercultural competence and a natural ability to build networks
