**Job Title**:Business Development Manager, Nucleic Acid Therapeutics

Location: Mainland Europe Remote

Life Science Solutions Group - Nucleic Acid Therapeutics unit

**How will you make an impact?**

This role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier by providing Life Science Solutions group technologies to nucleic acid therapeutic customers on a clinical and commercial supply basis for the development & manufacturing of customer’s life-changing therapies. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys driving strategy and handling performance of a team.

**What will you do?**
- Develop, implement and lead the strategic direction for nucleic acid therapeutic business unit and drive sales strategies to meet and expand the business in the assigned region.
- Identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities to sell the company’s products and capabilities to therapeutic customers to facilitate our customer’s cGMP-manufacturing goals.
- Initiate and develop productive customer relationships in multiple functions (e.g R&D;, MS&T;, production, procurement, quality, regulatory affairs) and create network of contacts (scientist, project manager, manager and executive levels) to ensure comprehensive customer engagement.
- Actively participate in, and may lead, cross-functional teams to close customer opportunities that include adept coordination of legal, manufacturing, marketing, R&D;, etc.
- Collaborate with business unit partners to develop business/partnership frameworks for large, complex, often multi-year mutually beneficial partnerships with customers. Make highly informed judgments of value to the customer upon which to develop financial terms for often customized products, based on therapeutic potential. Negotiate and close business terms and conditions.
- Understand and act in accordance to applicable licenses and intellectual property, as well as monitor and manage contracts and relationships with customers.
- Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve problems in a timely fashion. Investigates product issues and ensures satisfactory resolution of customer complaints.
- Manage and develop team members per 4i Values (integrity, intensity, innovation and involvement), while providing regular feedback on development opportunities to promote personnel growth, scalability and aspirations.
- Travel expectations for role at 50% both regionally and globally.

**How will you get here?**
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in any life science or business
- Advanced degree and/or MBA preferred.

Requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including:

- Lead development
- Contract development and negotiation
- Sales funnel management
- Sales to therapeutic companies
- Consultative selling
- CVS IN ENGLISH PLEASE

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Understanding of the nucleic acid therapeutic markets
- Strong understanding of therapeutic development and commercial manufacturing workflows in nucleic acid therapeutics
- Ability to work well in a team and matrix atmosphere
