Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new potential agents, supporting the current agent portfolio and implementing new strategies to improve agent performance. The job plays a crucial role in establishing relationships with agents, internal departments and marketing MoneyGram’s brand. The Inside Sales Representative sources new sales opportunities through market research, inbound lead follow-up and outbound phone/e-mail contacts.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Generates revenue via phone or virtual meetings by obtaining agent information, understanding and interpreting competitive requirements, providing market information, and developing accounts in collaboration with the sales team.
2. Prospects potential leads by actively engaging by phone (cold calling), virtual meetings and in writing to build the relationships for new business.
3. Making outbound calls to potential new agents and following up on leads, turning leads into opportunities and achieving weekly/monthly targets.
4. Supporting entire sales process from initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each agent.
5. Becoming an expert on our products and services and staying up to date with market developments and competitor offers.
6. Collaborates daily with internal support departments and takes ownership of agents’ operational or technical needs and requests, that impact revenue.
7. Responsible for updating, monitoring & maintaining database of new leads and existing network on CRM tool (Salesforce), recording & reporting on daily activities in line with KPIs.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
9. BA/BS degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience
10. 2+ years’ experience in a sales role, selling, and servicing customers.

16. Data entry skills / Excel / SF knowledge is preferred.
