The Role
As a People Assistant at DAZN, you will support the daily operations of the People (HR) function, ensuring processes run efficiently and accurately. You will be involved in a wide range of HR administrative tasks and work with colleagues across Recruitment, Payroll, and Global People teams to deliver a strong employee experience in the UK and internationally.
Part of the recruitment process may involve English-language steps, and some Talent Acquisition and Hiring teams are UK-based. Please upload your resume in English.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as a first point of contact for general employee HR queries, providing professional and timely responses.
- Prepare and manage employee documentation, including contracts, promotion letters, resignations, and parental leave notices (UK & international).
- Support processes related to secondments, relocations, and visa applications.
- Maintain and update employee data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including system setup and documentation.
- Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll changes (e.g., new joiners, leavers, compensation updates).
- Provide administrative support for employee relations matters and exit interviews.
- Raise and manage purchase orders and HR-related invoices.
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining HR policies and documentation in line with local employment law.
- Support ad-hoc HR projects and provide general administrative support to the People team.
What You'll Bring
- Some experience in an HR administrative or operational role, preferably in an international environment.
- Basic understanding of UK and/or EU employment legislation.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with payroll processes and HR systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, organised, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders across regions and teams.
