Global Software Development Team Leader:
Lionbridge is seeking a talented individual to join our OPI engineering team as a Global Software Development Team Leader. This role involves building our rapidly expanding Interpretations platform, with an exciting product development roadmap and opportunities to research, prototype, and implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and develop global teams across multiple regions.
* Foster an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and cross-cultural communication.
* Implement and monitor strategic performance goals for worldwide teams.
* Make architectural decisions considering global scalability and international compliance.
* Design solutions that meet regional requirements without over-engineering.
* Apply agile best practices to develop implementation strategies suitable for diverse teams.
* Ensure the uptime and reliability of production systems across regions.
* Manage operational systems and oversee monitoring and maintenance.
* Prioritize the backlog to align with global strategic objectives.
* Coordinate sprint planning and stand-ups across time zones.
* Set and manage expectations with stakeholders across regions.
* Communicate delays and scope changes effectively across the global network.
Qualifications:
* 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development using .Net Framework and .Net Core.
* 5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frameworks;
experience in mobile app development is a plus.
* Deep understanding of monolith, microservice architectures, and suitable patterns for global distributed systems.
* Experience in building distributed, cloud-based solutions, especially with Microsoft Azure or similar platforms.
* Proven success in developing scalable, high-performance global technology solutions.
* Expertise in code reviews and fostering quality and continuous improvement.
* Experience with Test Driven Development in diverse team environments.
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies in a global context.

* Effective leadership of global teams, including hiring, managing, and mentoring.
* Excellent communication skills in English;
proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
