We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join directly as a technological partner of a leading American multinational in the luxury travel & lifestyle sector. An iconic brand and global reference in premium travel and exclusive experiences, which is building its new European technology hub from scratch in Málaga.
You will join a strategic, long-term project from the very beginning, unifying and modernizing its global cloud infrastructure from Málaga. You will work on large-scale cloud platforms with high traffic peaks and demanding technical standards. An international environment where scalability, reliability, and efficiency are not optional, but part of the product's DNA.
Your impact on the project:
- Design and evolve cloud-native services and applications on AWS, with a focus on scalability, performance, and high availability.
- Build and operate components deployed on Kubernetes (EKS), contributing to their evolution and standardization.
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), improving delivery quality, reliability, and speed.
- Actively participate in architecture decisions, technical design, and the definition of platform-level best practices.
- Automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), contributing to reproducible, secure, and maintainable environments.
- Work closely with development and product teams to improve deployments, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Drive platform observability through metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
- Contribute to the creation of technical guidelines, documentation, and engineering standards, raising the overall level of the team.
- Promote continuous improvement in processes, automation, testing, and internal tooling.
- Depending on your experience and interests, participate in technical mentoring and the evolution of the team within the hub.
What we offer:
- Permanent contract for a stable position with our client, with the possibility of joining the client's internal staff.
- Hybrid model: on-site from Monday to Thursday, remote on Fridays.
- Office in the center of Málaga (residency in the city required).
- Versátil schedule: Monday to Thursday 9:00–18:00, Friday 9:00–15:00.
- Indicative salary range: €55,000–€70,000 gross per year, open to negotiation depending on experience.
