We are currently looking for a Senior Officer Operational Due Diligence to support our Luxembourg department in charge of the due diligences focused on fund administrators and depositaries.
Job Specification
Support due diligence (initial / ongoing) oversight reviews on fund administrators and depositaries, including questionnaire, standard pack documentation review, financial statements, structure charts, organisational charts, licences, KPIs and SOC report.
Monitor the deadlines set for completing the due diligence questionnaires.
Prepare the assessment report on service providers and escalates key findings to the Director of Operations.
Assist with updating key internal controls and templates, including the due diligence oversight dashboard, the internal company shared database and any template used for the preparation and completion of the due diligence exercise.
Prepare on‐site and/or remote sessions with fund administrators and depositaries to address and remediate potential due diligence oversight findings and ongoing subjects of interest.
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
Maintain clear documentation and follow processes.
Prepare fund's board reports within the agreed timelines.
Liaise with internal teams to constantly improve the quality of the control framework.
Support with ad‐hoc projects.
Required Qualifications
Academic degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
Work experience in due diligence, audit or a similar domain.
Strong commercial awareness.
Experience in a Luxembourgish AIFM is an asset.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication in English is a must.
High attention to detail and critical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Working autonomously.
Keen to further develop practical knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to financial services, both within Luxembourg and other jurisdictions.
