About the Role The Product Manager, Risk & Compliance, SaaS Third Party Risk, is responsible for the product strategy and lifecycle management of a range of Risk & Compliance's SaaS products, including IntegrityCheck and Due Diligence. This role reports to the Senior Product Manager of Third Party Due Diligence Products and works with the Risk & Compliance Product Team as well as Dow Jones technology teams and third-party teams outside Dow Jones.
It is the responsibility of the Product Manager to ensure that existing features operate as specified and that new features are defined, specified, scoped, scheduled, delivered and communicated both internally and to our client base. The Product Manager will independently manage the full lifecycle for larger features or product components, demonstrating proficient product judgement, analytical skills, and prioritization aligned with strategy. They contribute to the area's strategy, build cross-functional partnerships, influence stakeholders, and operate with autonomy on clearly-defined product areas.
Responsibilities Develop the product strategy and understand market opportunities and competitive landscape. Collaborate with research and proposition teams to ensure market-driven needs are met.
Lead cross-functional teams to develop, prioritize and deliver product features and enhancements ensuring the roadmap is clearly understood by stakeholders, proposition and sales.
Be a key contributor to Sprint Planning and Backlog Management, ensuring priorities are adhered to, minor changes are progressed and the Backlog is maintained to retain Engineering utilisation.
Assist with the communications (internally and externally) of new feature releases and maintenance of user guides.
Demonstrate strong collaboration skills in working with multiple internal and external teams to build out, maintain, and launch products.
Have a solid understanding of the technical architecture for the products you manage.
Qualifications 4+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully managing large and complex projects or entire products.
Proven ability to develop a product strategy, balancing user needs with business goals, and using data to drive decisions.
A solid understanding of technical architecture and the software development process that includes Agile methodologies (Scrum).
Demonstrable experience in scoping, budgeting, scheduling and delivering complex project implementations.
Some experience working with partners and/or outside vendors.
Preferred experience managing third party due diligence products with a strong understanding of AI.
