The company needs to hire a Business Unit Leader with solid business experience in rare diseases in the Iberian Market to establish and lead this new area in the company. At the beginning, he/she will introduce a new product, the only one authorized for the disease.
Key duties /Responsibilities:
To direct the sales and marketing strategy to achieve short- and long-term objectives in the market.
Ensure that the team meets established goals that contribute to the overall success of the company.
Analize and optimize market opportunities, from new diagnoses to patient journey.
Lead the marketing strategy, its omnichannel execution and the entire commercial plan for a new product maximizing growth, profitability and market share.
Report to the CEO in Spain.
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Life Sciences.
Minimum 5 years' experience in rare disease within the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of dermatology or immunology is desirable.
Proven experience in leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams.
Patient-focused.
Strong in reporting capabilities.
Results-oriented.
Rare Diseases Business acumen.
Excellent Influencing and negotiation skills and strong communication skills.
Analytical ability.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
