* Business position
The IT/OT architect will be responsible for leading the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) within the organization. The primary goal of this role is to ensure the integration, security, operational continuity, and optimization of IT/OT platforms to support the organization's strategic objectives. The IT/OT architect will work closely with engineering and technology teams to support the implementation of innovative solutions and ensure efficient system functionality.
Responsibilities:
1. IT/OT Strategy and Management
* Develop and implement strategies to align IT and OT platforms with business objectives.
* Oversee the integration and management of IT systems (networks, servers, etc.) and OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, DCS).
* Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in operational systems.
* Ensure interoperability between IT and OT in manufacturing, logistics, or critical facility environments.
1. Project Management
* Lead IT/OT integration projects, ensuring delivery within established timelines and budgets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automated and digital solutions.
* Manage the upgrade or modernization of IT systems related to OT infrastructure.
2. Security and Compliance
* Assist the global security team in defining cybersecurity strategies to protect both IT and OT systems from threats.
* Help develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for OT environments.
* Support security audits, risk assessments, and mitigation plans for IT/OT infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
3. Operations and Support
* Collect and analyze operational demand from manufacturing plants and coordinate with the relevant teams.
* Ensure delivery of operational demands related to IT/OT.
* Track and resolve incidents in IT/OT environments.
* Monitor performance and ensure high availability and resilience of IT/OT platforms.
* Manage contracts and relationships with technology and service providers.
* Establish processes for incident, change, and configuration management.
4. Leadership and Training
* Foster collaboration across IT, operations, manufacturing, and other teams.
* Train staff on IT/OT technologies, cybersecurity, and best practices.
