IGTP is looking for a Research Nurse in Dialysis to join the Research in Kidney Affecting Diseases Group (REMAR). The selected candidate will work in the MoniK project, a project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities (Proyecto CPP2022 -009868 financiado por MICIU/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 y por FEDER, UE).
The MoniK project aims to develop an innovative biometric monitoring sensor capable of non‑invasively measuring potassium levels in sweat. This cutting‑edge technology is designed for continuous monitoring of patients with renal disease, enabling early detection of potassium imbalances – a critical factor in managing these conditions. By providing real‑time data, MoniK seeks to support clinical decision‑making, improve patient outcomes, and optimise the allocation of healthcare resources through more informed and proactive care strategies.
Main Responsibilities
* Sample collection during extracorporeal purification sessions.
* Monitoring and control of clinical and biological parameters for patients participating in the MONIK study.
* Managing and overseeing the implementation of the clinical package at the hospital, ensuring the successful execution of haemodialysis techniques and extracorporeal purification.
Qualifications and Experience
* Education: Nursing degree + Master’s degree.
* Languages: Catalan, Spanish, Basic English.
* Specific knowledge: Haemodialysis techniques (essential), extracorporeal purification, and advanced chronic kidney disease.
* Personal skills: Leadership ability, communication, empathy towards patients in the haemodialysis programme.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of intra‑ and extra‑hospital experience in haemodialysis.
* Experience in quality management and patient experience.

* Temporary contract, 4 days/week (Friday/Saturday – Monday/Tuesday) until September 2026.
