Your main role will be creating engaging content for scientific dissemination across various platforms, including our website, social media, and events. You will work on projects with clients such as ESA, crafting stories about scientific discoveries, innovations, and climate action using techniques like scrollytelling. Responsibilities include:
Developing content to communicate scientific topics to a broad international audience.Creating narratives to accompany visualization tools in collaboration with scientists.Managing and enhancing our social media presence (X/Mastodon, LinkedIn, Medium).Producing multimedia content, including videos and images, in collaboration with designers.Researching new communication platforms and developing strategies to increase our reach.What you will bring
Essential qualifications include:
Interest and willingness to learn about climate science, big data, AI, and related fields.Ability to communicate complex scientific topics clearly and effectively.Experience in journalism, digital marketing, or social media management.Proven experience in scientific content creation.Excellent spoken and written English skills.A strong desire to contribute to climate action.Knowledge of marketing and social media trends.Skill in creating visual content for impactful communication.Nice-to-have qualifications include:
A degree in journalism, science communication, digital marketing, or environmental sciences.Portfolio of digital projects or science outreach work.Experience with Figma and Adobe Suite tools.Knowledge of Catalan and Spanish.What we offer
