Your responsibilities and tasks
\nAre you in your final year of studies and ready to gain real-world experience in procurement? Join our dynamic team as an Indirect Procurement Intern and support global procurement operations across a wide range of categories and initiatives!\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
- Support our integral procurement team in the service areas of Consulting, Marketing, Finance and Legal
\n
- Define, implement and track a category team reporting for the main KPIs such as savings, net working capital etc. and share status update in our team meeting Prepare and participate in different stakeholder and supplier meetings/ negotiations
\n
- Support the Category Managers in updating, communicating and executing the procurement strategies
\n
- Documentation of supplier agreements in our GEA systems
\n
- Support the global procurement team during the tender process (including negotiations)
\n
- Analyzing spend data
\n
- Setting up procurement homepages per category in our GEA intranet and keeping them up-to-date
\n
- Support internal procurement initiatives, e.g. Net Working Capital
\n
- Identify opportunities on your own based on your learnings at GEA
\n
\n
Your profile and qualifications
\n
\n
- Must be in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Eligible to undertake an internship as part of your academic program.
\n
- Fluent in English and Spanish, German is a plus
\n
- Knowledge and interest in working on AI-bases solutions, e.g. building AI Agents
\n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
\n
- Strong analytical and communication skills
\n
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
\n
