Our client is one of the world’s largest globally diversified natural resources companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 commodities across several countries. Our latest addition is a new office in beautiful Malaga, and we currently have multiple openings for driven and passionate IT professionals like you.
The role in a nutshell
In this role you will be a template gatekeeper and act as a global process architect in the MM and PM areas. You will review all system enhancements proposed by business users and provide estimates and assess the impacts of the change.
You will work together with the Business Process Owners and the functional and technical teams to come up with a detailed analysis of the system improvements before they are released to the Approval Board.
Additionally, you will work closely with the delivery teams to ensure the solution is robust, based on the specifications and meeting the business requirements.
This is one of the critical roles in our support team and for that we expect a seasoned professional with experience in SAP MM and PM modules and knowledge of integration with eProcurement tools such as Coupa.
As part of a global team, you will have to interact with the local team in Malaga (functional and technical), business across different geographies, and local functional teams located in Europe, Canada and Australia.
More specifically, you will be expected to:
1. Have an oversight on incident resolution in your areas of knowledge.
2. Liaise with business to gain an understanding of the business requirements and provide guidance to the senior SAP functional specialists on the best way to enable them in the system.
3. Coordinate activities with Applications Management Support (AMS) team and the global project teams.
4. Define solutions holistically taking into consideration not only SAP but the impacts on the whole ecosystem.
5. Ensure the documentation and the solution standards are in synch across the different countries.
Do you have what it takes?
6. Strong background in SAP Materials Management and SAP Plant Maintenance with a demonstrable functional expertise and experience in integrating with multiple and relevant software products in Procurement (ideally Coupa);
7. Proven and demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects;
8. Ability to make solid and reliable decisions in complex environments;
9. Strong interpersonal and soft skills, able to quickly develop relationships with all stakeholders, locally and globally, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders;
10. SAP S/4 HANA experience including Fiori apps in Materials Management and Plant Maintenance. Desirable experience in integrating with Coupa. As a template guardian, you must have a holistic perspective of the overall solution being pivotal across different SAP modules and other applications.
Language: As you will be part of a global team, you must be able to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages such as French, German and/or Spanish is desirable.
Travel: Some occasional travelling will be required.
