CORPORATE STRATEGY LOGISTICS & PURCHASING SPECIALIST

Neuraxpharm is seeking a Corporate Strategy Specialist to strengthen our Corporate Technology team. Given the highly specialized nature of the role, based in Barcelona
Your mission:
Reporting to the Purchasing Director, you will define and drive Neuraxpharm corporate logistics strategy—from category strategy and partner selection to import–export compliance and end‑to‑end flow design—ensuring cost effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and service excellence across regions. You will align objectives with company strategy, orchestrate cross‑functional stakeholders, and enable a smooth cross‑border flow of goods that supports global operations.
Your major accountabilities:
1. Own the logistics category strategy at corporate level, aligning it with business goals and purchasing policy, and delivering measurable productivity and spend optimization.
2. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) of key logistics partners (3PLs, freight forwarders, customs brokers): evaluate performance, lead negotiations, and drive continuous improvement in price, quality, service, and compliance.
3. Import–export leadership & customs readiness: anticipate requirements for new projects/launches in any country or region and ensure robust documentation and processes.
4. Design global flows/shipments for APIs and FDFs, define the logistics setup and partners, and transfer the knowledge and setup to Supply Chain for day‑to‑day operations.
5. Risk management across assigned categories, with proactive monitoring, mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
6. Cross‑functional collaboration with Tax (to ensure compliance and identify tax optimization opportunities) and with Quality (to put in place the procedures/contracts needed to operate).
7. Transport cost assessments for new/potential routes and support for business cases in new geographies.
We would like you to have:
8. 5+ years of experience in Purchasing/Logistics with strategic category management and/or logistics management responsibilities in Pharmaceutical Industry.
9. A degree in International Business, Global Trade, or Industrial Engineering.
10. Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, quality orientation, and attention to detail, with the initiative to lead cross‑functional workstreams.
11. Proven experience in import–export, customs & trade compliance, documentation, and stakeholder management.
12. Fluent English; ability to collaborate across geographies in multicultural settings.
13. MS expert and Nice-to-have: SAP (MM/LE, GTS), TMS (e.g., SAP TM/Blue Yonder), Power BI; Incoterms® 2020 master
14. Good knowledge of EU customs regimes (e.g., IPR/OPR), AEO context; familiarity with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) for medicinal products and temperature-controlled shipments when applicable; certifications like APICS CSCP/CLTD or IATA DGR.
15. Availability to travel up to ~20%.
