Retail Client Solutions is BBVA’s global business area driving the transformation of the value proposition for retail and SME clients across the Group. This includes product development, design strategy, customer experience, and relationship models.
In line with the Group’s new strategic priorities, the Global Insurance area has been established with a focus on transforming and growing the insurance business across all geographies, executing an ambitious strategic plan which contributes to the Group’s growth and profitability. The finance function will play a key role in ensuring global alignment and financial coordination across geographies.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the insurance industry who is eager to take on new challenges with enthusiasm.
* Have deep knowledge of financial management and reporting within the insurance sector.
* Be familiar with international accounting standards (particularly IFRS 17).
* Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams across multiple geographies.
* Possess strong coordination abilities and the capacity to act as a key liaison between finance and other areas.
* Have experience participating in or leading international projects, ensuring alignment across countries and functions.

We are seeking a proactive and committed professional with a solid background in the insurance industry, who can bring both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. A resolute, proactive, and dynamic approach, with a strong team spirit, is a must. The ideal candidate will:
* Have deep knowledge of financial management and reporting within the insurance sector.
* Be familiar with international accounting standards (particularly IFRS 17).
* Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams across multiple geographies.
* Possess strong coordination abilities and the capacity to act as a key liaison between finance and other areas.

Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, ideally in financial, actuarial, or accounting roles.
* Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, particularly IFRS 17.
* Familiarity with actuarial concepts and their application in financial reporting and planning.
* Strong analytical skills, results-oriented mindset, and a proactive attitude.
* Proven ability to work in cross-functional and international environments.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams across countries.
* High proficiency in Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* High level of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Sobre el puesto
Initial Assignment :As part of the Financial Insurance Team, you will participate in the following responsibilities:
* Internal and external reporting of the group’s insurance activity.
* Integration and standardization of global financial information across the insurance business.
* Governance of global KPIs for the area (both financial and non-financial).
* Monitoring and analysis of activity, results, expenses, and investments.
* Coordination with the Accounting team within the Finance Area to ensure proper consolidation of the insurance and pension operations at group level (Accounting consolidation under IFRS 17).
* Coordination with financial teams for insurance in each geography.
* Stakeholder for the execution and rollout of global insurance projects within the finance framework.
* Development and monitoring of the annual global insurance budget (both financial and non-financial).
* Collaboration with actuarial teams in various analyses and in the design of insurance products.
