Candidates will work with a modern tech stack on a Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud platform serving users in over 49 countries. The core platform handles billions of tasks daily. The candidate should have strong leadership abilities, a passion for software engineering, and excellent communication skills. Versatility, continuous learning, and team empowerment are highly valued. The candidate will support building scalable, highly available, reliable, efficient, and secure cloud solutions for a medical device SaaS.
What You’ll Work On
* Develop and enhance our React healthcare platforms.
* Design and implement services, features, and components utilizing React.
* Participate in Go backend development.
* Develop high-volume, low-latency services for a global healthcare platform.
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and integrate APIs that enable users to share and utilize their medical data.
* Design and implement maintainable, testable code.
* Work with InfoSec teams to design secure solutions.
* Define and shape API contracts with internal and external teams.
* Contribute ideas and insights with the data services team.
* Ensure system performance, uptime, and scalability, maintaining high code quality and thoughtful design.
* Participate in architectural and operational decisions with the Architecture team.
* Implement systemic changes to align systems with architectural goals.
* Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models illustrating design and workflows.
* Engage in Agile development processes focused on feature realization.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
* 6+ years of software development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSX.
* Experience in backend development, preferably in Go or other languages.
* Motivated to learn new software development languages.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in collaborative code reviews.
* Practical knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Experience designing scalable, highly available, and maintainable systems.
* Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and modular code development.
* Experience with asynchronous messaging and backend processing jobs.
* Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with internationalization and content management systems.
* Deep backend expertise and React experience.
* Experience in Go development.
* Knowledge of relational and document-oriented databases like SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL.
* Experience with data visualization tools like D3.
* Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD).
* Practical knowledge of Linux.
* Understanding of Docker containers and orchestration tools like Docker Swarm, ECS, and Kubernetes.
* Experience with monitoring and analytics tools like Grafana, Kibana, Sentry, and feature flagging tools.
* Knowledge of open-source software development and emerging trends.
