The Digital Workplace Engineering Director will lead the engineering function responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the digital workplace ecosystem — ensuring that employees can work securely, efficiently, and collaboratively from anywhere.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of engineers and product specialists, promoting collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
* Oversee the architecture, delivery, and continuous improvement of workplace and device management solutions (laptops, operating systems, mobility tools, and collaboration platforms).
* Align technology initiatives with the organization’s overall strategy, ensuring service stability, scalability, and security.
* Define and plan workforce capabilities, identify future skill needs, and foster continuous learning and talent development.
* Implement efficient, agile, and outcome-oriented working methods to enhance delivery performance and process optimization.
* Contribute to the overall technology strategy and participate in key decision-making forums within the organization.
* Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning across the team and broader digital workplace community.
Requirements
* Proven experience leading technical or engineering teams in digital, infrastructure, or product environments.
* Strong knowledge of digital workplace technologies, operating systems, device management, and collaboration tools.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex technology programs.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
* Hands‑on and agile approach, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
* Curiosity and passion for emerging technologies and innovative ways of working.
* Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
