GE Vernova Project & Services-Noblejas Parts Warehouse
Parts Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for all material handling activities in the Parts Warehouse, including goods receiving, material picking & packing, shipment preparation and everything related to cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform transactions to receive & dispatch material in Oracle or SAP
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all parts both incoming / outgoing
- Troubleshoot any problems or issues with incoming / outgoing parts to the WHS, or paperwork
- Maintain organization of raw materials-components and preserve trace and integrity of inventory
- Physically receive items that come from suppliers / forwarders and move to stock locations
- Ensure items are stocked in correct locations
- Pick orders for packing & shipment. Pack orders to specs
- Load / unload trucks as needed in a timely manner
- Work with carriers to arrange pick up and deliveries
- Follow all EHS guidelines and policies
- Items count and report as per cycle count or physical inventory activities
Qualifications/Main Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Parts warehouse or logistics environment
- Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Office package.
- Ability to effectively interface with internal & external customers
- Ability to multi-task
- Forklift truck license & operate machinery as needed (Forklift, Skin Pack Machine, Crane etc.)
- Ability to lift, transport, move and / or manipulate boxes or other materials up to 100T with reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a working environment that changes daily to keep incoming / outgoing materials moving to meet customer requirements.
- Self-motivated to work with minimal guidance and willingness to learn from others
- Ability and willingness to work various shifts and overtime on short notice, in order to meet business needs
- Ability to follow instructions and be willing to work outside under adverse weather conditions
