The role
As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will drive the S&OP Process working closely with customer development (sales force), marketing, and sourcing unit teams to build an integrated volume and sales plan. You will coordinate the delivery of results, make forecast shifts based on consumption or business changes, and manage downstream supply chain operations.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Prepare strategic and ad‑hoc analysis.
Monitor and evaluate KPIs, identify gaps, recommend actions, and implement improvements.
Review and maintain demand and supply forecasts across multiple time horizons.
Use and maintain demand‑planning tools: Excel, Power BI, RapidResponse, and SAP.
Follow up or chase multiple teams for pending information proactively.
Reconcile significant variances for sales and marketing assumptions.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate information for alignment meetings and reviews.
Work with initiatives and marketing groups to size promotional and new‑launch forecasts and coordinate S&OP meetings.
Establish strong collaborative relationships with category and customer sales teams.
Interact with internal stakeholders to support planning processes.
Orchestrate the country implementation of the new Demand Machine Learning tool.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; exposure to FP&A or forecasting is a plus.
Has a strong performance track record and is highly disciplined.
Is proficient in Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel (intermediate to advanced).
Is familiar with SAP, ERP, or planning tools such as APO and RapidResponse.
Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and non‑verbally.
Can collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
Adapts quickly to change and thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Works well under pressure, managing complexity and tight deadlines.
Is analytical, proactive, and has strong problem‑solving skills.
Understands FMCG dynamics and customer structures.
