🎯 What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Pre-Award Project Manager –European Funds specialised in the Biotech and Health sector to lead the preparation and submission of high-impact European funding proposals for innovative healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medtech, and life sciences projects.
💡 What will your mission be?
✏️ Identify and assess European funding opportunities relevant to biotech, health, medtech, pharma, diagnostics, digital health, and life sciences sectors.
✏️Analyse EU calls, work programmes, eligibility criteria, evaluation procedures, and strategic priorities.
✏️Coordinate the full proposal development process for programmes such as Horizon Europe, EU4Health, Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), LIFE, CBE, and other European instruments.
✏️Support clients in defining project strategy, innovation positioning, impact pathways, and exploitation plans.
✏️Draft, review, and improve technical and strategic proposal sections.
✏️Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including researchers, clinicians, biotech companies, hospitals, universities, CROs, and industry partners.
✏️Support consortium building and partner engagement across European ecosystems.
✏️Ensure high-quality submissions aligned with EU standards and deadlines.
✏️Monitor trends and policy developments in European health and biotech innovation funding.
🎓What kind of candidate are we looking for?
📌 PhD or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or related fields.
📌Proven experience in European funding proposal preparation or innovation consultancy.
📌Strong knowledge of EU funding programmes related to health and biotechnology.
📌Understanding of R&D; and innovation ecosystems in biotech, pharma, medical devices, digital health, or healthcare.
📌Excellent project management and coordination skills.
📌Strong analytical, writing, and communication abilities.
📌Fluent English (written and spoken).
📌Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in an international environment.
Nice to Have
📌Knowledge of clinical research, regulatory pathways, IP strategy, or technology transfer.
📌Experience working with hospitals, research centres, biotech startups, or pharmaceutical companies.
📌Familiarity with EU submission platforms and proposal evaluation processes.
