Experteer Overview In this Senior Security Engineer role, you’ll own and evolve tooling, automation, and processes that keep Hopper’s applications secure throughout their lifecycle. You’ll build systems that make security invisible to developers and unavoidable by default, leveraging AI as a core multiplier. You’ll integrate security into CI/CD and developer workflows, partner with engineering teams to raise secure practices, and scale defenses beyond manual effort. This is a builder-focused, high-impact role at a fast-growing, data-driven travel fintech platform.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Own and evolve the vulnerability management program for applications (images, dependencies, code scanning, runtime detection) - Build and maintain security tooling integrated into CI/CD and developer workflows - Leverage AI to accelerate coding, automate analyses, and create scalable tooling - Assess and improve telemetry usage across systems - Collaborate with engineering teams to shift secure development practices from standards to built-in defaults - Investigate security findings while prioritizing preventive and detective system improvements - Adapt to shifting priorities in an agile environmentResponsabilidades - 5+ years experience in software and/or platform engineering - Deep experience in application security and vulnerability management (CVE awareness, dependency risk, container security, SDLC integration) - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/GKE or equivalent) - Demonstrated habit of using AI tools (coding assistants, LLMs) as a core workflow - Bias toward automation and building tools to replace manual tasks - Comfort with ambiguity and ownership;
