Technica Engineering is a technology company specialized in the development, validation and verification of software and electronic solutions at the automotive sector. With a strong focus on technologies like Automotive Ethernet and the development of ECUS, we bring technical consulting services in areas like ADAS, on-board networks, getaways, and comfort and security functions.
We are currently offering you a position as a Automotive Ethernet Test Engineer in Cybersecurity with permanent employment in Vigo, Spain. The ideal applicant has a background in programming, telecommunications or electronics and has already experience in the daily tasks related with testing or with concept designing.
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
* Professional experience in automotive, telecommunications or software development industry.
* Engineering background (Preferable Telecommunications or Computer Science)
* To have at least a B2 English level.
Nice To Have
* Expertise in the field of cybersecurity functions and/or protocols, e.g. Secure Boot, Certificates, IPsec, MACsec, TLS, ...
* Good OO programming skills in Python, C++ or C#.
* Good understanding of the technical development processes for embedded software development, vehicle development and testing.
* ISTQB Certification is desired.
What will your tasks be?
* Analysis of the requirement specifications and design specifications of our customers in the automotive industry.
* Test planning, definition and implementation of test concepts and test cases for embedded systems in the vehicle.
* Commissioning and implementation of ECU tests on the HIL and PIL simulation.
* Development of automated test cases and test frameworks.
* Planning and implementation of embedded system and component tests with regard to specifications.
* Use of Technica Engineering's own products as test tools.
