Join our team and build the future of space technology We ́re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for an intern to join our AI Applications for Space team. We are seeking a passionate, talented, and motivated individual to contribute to the development of an onboard Artificial Intelligence model for Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), capable of identifying and classifying different signals in real time directly from a satellite.
What you will be doing? Collaborate in the development and validation of Artificial Intelligence models for the identification and classification of radio frequency signals in space environments.
Participate in the generation, processing, and labeling of datasets for the training and evaluation of Machine Learning algorithms.
Support the simulation of real operational conditions through signal degradation and processing techniques.
Collaborate in the development of applications for payload control and signal acquisition onboard satellites.
Participate in the evaluation and optimization of algorithms for deployment on high-performance embedded platforms (CPU and FPGA).
Support signal analysis, monitoring, and processing activities related to Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) applications.
Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the development of innovative space solutions.
What do we need in our team Academic background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related disciplines.
Interest in the development of AI-based solutions applied to the space sector and signal processing.
Availability to carry out the internship on-site at our offices in Nigrán (Pontevedra, Spain).
Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to learn in innovative and technically challenging environments.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Candidate qualifications and skills Work remotely a percentage of the time to be defined with the manager
