Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and microservices-based architectures.
Build scalable solutions within fully containerized environments running on Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components with frontend elements built in React.
Optimize system performance, stability, and security across backend services.
Contribute to code reviews, best-practice definition, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements
5+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
Proven experience working with microservices architectures.
Hands‐on experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes deployments.
Knowledge of Oracle databases.
Some frontend experience, ideally with React.
Advanced English level (able to work in international environments).
Availability to work onsite 3 days per week (Madrid city center).
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling.
Additional knowledge of cloud‐native architectures.
Experience in financial or highly regulated environments.
Certifications in Java, Kubernetes, Cloud, or related technologies.
