We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Global Platform Owner – SAP Governance and Authorizations to lead our global SAP Governance and Authorizations organization. This position reports directly to the Head of SAP and is responsible for shaping and driving global SAP platform initiatives, including authorizations, portfolio governance, test automation, and archiving, across all Fresenius Kabi SAP systems.
This is a key leadership role in a global environment — perfect for someone with deep SAP expertise and a passion for creating scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that enable long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a global team responsible for SAP Governance and Authorizations
* Act as the global point of contact for SAP Authorization, SAP test automation, SAP portfolio governance, and SAP archiving topics
* Oversee estimations, solution proposals, and offer submissions
* Define and align project priorities, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with business stakeholders and Business Relationship Managers
* Drive resource and capacity planning across internal and external teams, including onboarding/offboarding
* Ensure cross-functional alignment with SAP technical teams, Basis, Network, and related IT teams
* Engage with quality, validation, and audit teams to ensure regulatory and internal compliance
* Align with senior leadership on strategic contributions, future outcomes, and business enablement
* Actively shape and scale SAP solutions according to business needs
* Define and manage the service portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and cost-effectiveness
* Govern related programs from design through implementation and go-live
* Support budget planning and track financial performance for your area
* Conduct regular performance and development reviews with your team members
Your Profile
* 10+ years of experience in IT or information management, with deep expertise in SAP implementation and operations
* Extensive leadership experience managing global project teams and large-scale enterprise programs
* At least 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Authorization, with strong understanding of related governance and compliance frameworks
* Proven experience in SAP test automation tools and frameworks
* Strong background in portfolio management and harmonization initiatives in complex, matrixed environments
* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated, validated environments is a strong advantage
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills across all levels of the organization
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Strong service and quality orientation, with an ability to drive continuous improvement and team performance
