Your Role
You will work with internal Zurich Commercial and UW teams, as well as external IT suppliers, to design cloud technical solutions. Your main responsibilities include designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining integration systems and architectures for the team.
Responsibilities
* Support Commercial Insurance Integration initiatives to improve architecture and services.
* Design cloud-based solutions tailored to customer requirements.
* Use engineering software and tools for system design and analysis.
* Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and meet customer needs.
* Serve as a technical contact for customers, addressing concerns and providing guidance.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to enhance satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
* A university degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
* 4-5 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, including AWS microservices and Databricks.
* Ability to work independently.
Knowledge and Technical Skills
* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and capabilities.
* Understanding of serverless architecture.
* Knowledge of database design (conceptual, logical, physical).
* Proficiency in R, Scala, Python, and SQL.
* Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Proactivity and responsibility.
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Additional Skills
* Strong English skills (written and spoken).
* Good communication, listening, and questioning skills.
