Job Purpose
We are seeking a professional with proven experience in handling complex political or regulatory issues, working with business, governmental, or non-governmental agencies. This goal-oriented team player will report directly to the Head of Public Affairs and will be responsible for developing and implementing the Public Affairs strategy, along with other communication projects supporting our overall communications strategy.
Main Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of the public affairs strategy.
* Assist in gathering political, regulatory, and social intelligence.
* Create narrative support materials aligned with the public affairs strategy.
* Support contact management, database maintenance, agenda organization, and meeting preparations.
* Participate in advocacy actions with different levels of administration and decision-makers.
* Help craft and disseminate the company's narrative and key messages.
* Manage incidents related to the department and coordinate with the communication team.
Relationships
Collaborate with all other departments within the company.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in law, international relations, or politics; a Master’s degree is highly recommended.
* At least 3 years of direct experience with complex political or regulatory issues, preferably in an agency, business, or NGO.
* Knowledge of the political landscape and legislative processes in Spain.
* Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
* Excellent personal, political, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Proactive attitude, diligence, attention to detail, and results orientation.
* Ability to analyze and synthesize political, legal, and regulatory information.
* Hands-on approach and positive attitude.
* Effective in complex, influence-based matrix structures, engaging with senior stakeholders.
