Your profile
You have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Engineering, a master in quantum computing and at least 1 year of experience, preferably within the IT and/or consultancy industry.
* You are fluent in English, Spanish and Euskera
* Programming skills and familiarity with Python
* Broad knowledge of quantum algorithms and quantum information
* Experience in Ising/QUBO modeling
* Experience with some SDKs for Quantum Computing
* Ability to communicate complex knowledge to a broad audience with various levels of knowledge
* Ability to quickly analyze quantum computing application papers
* Distill problem definitions and constraints from informal or abstract business requirements and engineering problems
As a person you are curious and independent by nature, you like the business environment and enjoy working and interacting on daily basis with clients. On top of that, you have excellent communication skills and focus all efforts on ensuring the customer satisfaction.
What you will be doing
* You will be interfacing between business and technology functions
* You will play a key role in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* You will design and develop mathematical models and algorithms to solve optimization problems, such as routing, logistics planning, scenario simulation, portfolio optimization, etc
* You will develop uses cases for clients using Quantum Algorithms

About Fsas International Quantum Center
Fujitsu established the Fsas International Quantum Center (Fsas-IQC) in 2023, in collaboration with CESGA, following the installation of one of the most powerful quantum computers in Southern Europe in Galicia. This system was delivered through a partnership between Fujitsu and Oxford Quantum Circuits.
The Fsas-IQC was created as a center of excellence with the primary goal of strengthening the quantum technology ecosystem and promoting public-private collaboration to accelerate the development and adoption of quantum solutions. Today, the center serves as an accelerator for quantum innovation at both the national and international levels.
The center conducts complementary cross-disciplinary activities in four main areas:
