What Will You Do:
This person owns the end-to-end communication ecosystem—strategy, calendar, messaging, and creative direction—ensuring a cohesive and player-first narrative across all CRM touchpoints. They partner closely with Product, Live Ops, and Marketing to influence what is built and when, so that player journeys are fully supported and optimized for engagement, retention, and LTV.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Player Communication Strategy
*
* Own the CRM and lifecycle communication calendar, aligning all messaging with live ops events, feature releases, and key player moments
* Define and evolve lifecycle strategies across key segments (new, active, lapsing, VIP, and conversion-focused cohorts)
* Translate product and live ops plans into clear, actionable communication strategies
* Serve as the single source of truth for all outbound player messaging
Creative & Messaging Leadership
*
* Lead development of messaging across push, email, in-game surfaces, and other CRM channels
* Write and/or guide high-quality, performance-driven copy tailored to player motivations
* Partner with design to develop compelling creative that reinforces campaign goals
* Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and player-first communication standards
* Build and maintain a library of high-performing templates, subject lines, and creative assets
Live Ops & Product Influence
*
* Represent CRM in sprint planning and live ops reviews, advocating for lifecycle needs
* Influence feature design (e.g., messaging surfaces, onboarding flows, opt-ins) to improve reach and effectiveness
* Partner with Live Ops to align event timing, offers, and promotions with the communication strategy
* Identify and prioritize data and targeting requirements to enable personalization and segmentation
Campaign Execution & Experimentation

* Brief Marketing Operations on campaign builds, including targeting, timing, creative, and success metrics
* Review and approve campaigns prior to launch to ensure quality and alignment
* Partner with CRM Analytics to design and prioritize experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, journey optimization)
* Analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable improvements
Game & Community Immersion

* Actively play Marvel Strike Force to maintain a strong understanding of the player experience and economy
* Stay informed on community sentiment, feedback, and trends
* Participate in stand-ups, design reviews, and live ops planning to remain closely aligned with the game team
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL IMPACT
This role is the primary bridge between the central CRM function and the game team. The CRM / Lifecycle Lead owns direct-to-player campaigns end-to-end and ensures alignment across Social, Community, and Player Experience (Px) channels.
While supported by a Marketing Operations Manager and CRM Analyst, this role is expected to operate as a senior individual contributor with strong hands-on capabilities in campaign execution, segmentation, and experimentation. xpzdshu
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:

* 5+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or growth roles with hands-on channel execution
* Proven experience in midcore mobile games (professional and/or deeply engaged player)
* Strong creative instincts with the ability to write compelling, high-performing copy
* Experience managing editorial or communication calendars in live service environments
* Comfortable working within sprint-based development and influencing product decisions
* Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable) and lifecycle orchestration
* Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and optimization
* Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
