As an Electronic Hardware Lead Engineer in MAHLE, you will be responsible for analyzing hardware requirements (functional and non-functional) and the system functional architecture, allocating different HW blocks to multiple PCBAs in the product. You will ensure that the functionality split between different PCBA is consistent with the architecture and technically correct, perform required trade-offs, and ensure interface definitions between PCBAs are correct. You will lead and coordinate the work of several Electronic Engineers working on different PCBAs to ensure the full product electronic design is consistent.

* Review customer requirements, especially those related to hardware.
* Write high-level hardware specifications based on system requirements.
* Design hardware architecture according to defined hardware requirements, splitting functionality across multiple boards as needed.
* Coordinate the design of different boards with Electronic Hardware Engineers.
* Manage the electronic product tree, tracking releases and compatibility.
* Prepare connectors summaries and interface specifications.
* Participate in design reviews to ensure consistency.
* Coordinate design verification and reuse components when possible.
* Plan, review, and complete design and validation tasks as per PDP.
What skills do you need?
* Degree in Physics, Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, or similar.
* English (B2), Spanish (C1) desirable, German a plus.
* Technical background in electronic design, validation, and analysis tools (SPICE, MATLAB, etc.).
* Knowledge of automotive standards and processes (ISO26262, ASPICE).
* Experience with power electronics, system diagrams, and automotive validations.
