Through our Smart Locker ecosystem, Standalone devices, and the App, we consolidate logistics, last-mile services, and everyday amenities into a unified digital–physical experience.
By 2026, our product strategy aims to scale the creation, curation, and performance of building amenities across residential, office, and hospitality environments. We are enriching vertical-specific experiences through curated services, smarter partner ecosystems, and increasingly seamless user journeys — from parcel delivery to room booking, from marketplace purchases to on-site amenities.
Laravel backend, frontend portals, and the remote management of smart lockers and connected devices. You’ll also act as the main escalation point for the Ops team, helping diagnose and fix issues (including networking and hardware) that go beyond help desk level.
The goal is to take care of the part of our tech stack that is related to daily operations, taking ownership of this area to manage and evolve it in order to reduce or avoid issues whenever possible. You will act as an escalation point rather than first-level help desk support, getting involved only when the Ops/help desk team cannot move forward, handling production incidents and following up with root-cause analysis and prevention.
This involves maintaining a Laravel backend, monitoring daily operations, administering a distributed system environment, and responding to incidents (during business hours) when issues are beyond operational knowledge.
This role requires fluency in Linux, which is used on all our servers and systems. Additionally, we're looking for someone with excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues and identify root causes.
Backoffice development & maintenance: Maintain and optimize our Ops facing services (PHP/Laravel and Node.js/TypeScript).
Observability and monitoring: Take ownership of system observability and monitoring to detect issues before Operations or our clients do.
Distributed Systems & Remote Operations: Support remote management of smart lockers across Spain and the UK, performing hardware diagnostics and coordinating with field technicians.
Collaboration & Agile Practices: Participate in agile/scrum practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
PHP. Laravel. Node.js. TypeScript. Linux: Comfortable administering Linux (Debian), which is our main operating system on local and remote machines.
Networking: TCP/IP basics, VPNs, VLAN/Wi-Fi issues, and essential security practices.
Experience with distributed systems, networking knowledge and remote device management.
Additional Technical Skills: Bash scripting, agile methodology.
3-7 years of engineer experience (mid/senior)
~ Familiarity with AWS is not required but will be a plus.
~ Experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
