About The Job
The role designed for you:
The inbound raw material process is crucial in ensuring that a company has the materials to operate efficiently and meet customer demand. It focuses on the inflow of raw materials and goods into a facility. This role is vital to our supply chain—managing raw material inbound logistics, ensuring correct delivery times from suppliers, and coordinating internal processes that affect production flows.
Your Responsibilities Include
* Analyze raw materials stock, supplier orders, sales forecasts, and consumption data to maintain stock levels in accordance with company policies, involving interaction with internal and external functions to ensure compliance.
* Manage the arrival of materials, balancing inbound logistics with the demand for finished products.
* Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery times.
* Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery and correct quantities.
* Review purchase prices, verify invoices, and ensure they match purchase order terms.
* Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
* Analyze production schedules to identify potential shortages or surpluses of raw materials in advance, avoiding negative impacts on stock levels and costs.
* Collaborate with Planning to align schedules with raw material availability.
* Monitor and implement performance KPIs in line with company standards.
* Interact with Planning, Procurement, R&D, and Finance to achieve set goals.
The Attitudes And Skills We’re Looking For
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in supply chain roles.
* A related Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering) or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience or studies related to production or manufacturing areas.
* Autonomous, team-oriented, stable, dynamic, energetic, hardworking, and eager to improve.
* Strong analytical and planning skills.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
