We are looking for a
Senior Marketing Director
– Iberia
to lead our Core Therapies Marketing function and team in Spain and Portugal.
This position is part of the Executive Committee Iberia and reports to General Manager Iberia.
In this role, you will manage both Consumer Health Care (CHC) and Prescription brands in close alignment with Sales, Medical, Compliance, and Global Marketing, contributing to the overall business growth.
The main responsibilities in this role are the following:
Strategy Definition:
Lead a patient‑centric and customer‑oriented marketing strategy for the full portfolio, ensuring a strong omnichannel approach that sets the strategic direction for the Iberia Affiliate. You will oversee the commercial strategy team to ensure a deep understanding of patient, physician, pharmacist, and shopper needs. You will also own the development of competitive brand positioning, ensuring Global strategies are effectively adapted to Spanish and Portuguese markets while maintaining a proactive partnership with the Global Marketing Team.
Strategy Execution:
Lead and guide the execution of communication and media plans across all channels—including digital and social media—ensuring brand coherence until the final client. You will ensure effective governance of key brand projects with a strong ROI mindset and reinforce cross‑functional collaboration (Sales, Medical, Commercial Excellence) to deliver aligned brand plans and foster synergies across the portfolio.
Strategic Growth Opportunities and Budget management : Oversee and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize impact and ROI. Support the Business Development activities in continuously scanning the market and assessing opportunities of strategic interest. You will support the team in conducting analyses and preparing business cases for product launches and line extensions.
Results Analysis:
Supervise ROI and KPI tracking, ensuring performance is monitored consistently and influencing corrective actions when targets are not met. You will stay updated on market dynamics to contextualize results and support data‑driven decision‑making.
Team Development:
Build capabilities, develop talent, and ensure a high‑performing marketing team in line with Zambon’s culture. You will promote an innovative mindset, lead by example, and foster autonomy and collaboration aligned with our strategic goals.
Experience needed:
Strong background in pharmaceutical marketing, with a focus on Consumer Health products.
Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in the marketing function.
Previous experience as a member of an Executive Committee (at least 4 years).
Proven track record in leading DTC communication strategies across multiple channels.
Solid experience in Change Management and leading organizational transformation.
