About the Role
They are now seeking a highly capable Financial Controller to lead and manage all financial operations across the parent company and its affiliated entities. This pivotal senior finance role will play an integral part in ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and strategic planning support as the business continues its growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, including accountants and finance support staff, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work culture.
* Oversee all accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, month-end close processes, and financial reconciliations.
* Maintain continuous engagement with external financial advisors and ensure that financial practices reflect current legal, tax, and regulatory standards.
* Prepare, analyse and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
* Collaborate with the executive team on business planning and budgeting to support sustainable growth and investment strategies.
* Monitor cash flow, working capital, liquidity and overall financial health of the business and its subsidiaries.
* Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring all financial activities are accurate and compliant.
* Manage key banking relationships and liaise with external stakeholders as required.
* Support HR and operations teams with financial input for employment-related processes, contracts, and any compliance requirements.
Qualifications
* Proven experience - 3 to 5 years - in financial management or accounting leadership roles, ideally within a multi-entity business environment.
* Strong technical understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a finance team, with excellent organisational and analytical skills.
* Effective communication style, able to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience with compliance requirements and working with external advisors and auditors.
* Proficiency with financial systems and advanced spreadsheet modelling; familiarity with multi-currency transactions is an advantage.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Pay range and compensation package
This is a full-time, office-based role with flexible working hours Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package - take home pay of between 30,000 and 40,000 per year depending on experience, and benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance, in line with market expectations and experience. xsgfvud
