They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee, based in Madrid, but providing services to their global organization.
We’re looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect for its global operations in Madrid. He/She will design and implement technical reference architectures, supporting and guiding the technical teams in charge of product definition and deployment.
Design reference architectures for Cloud Services capabilities and for business requirements.
Guide Cloud Engineering Team in foundations implementation and automation tasks.
Gather business requirements and design solutions for product teams aligned with cloud strategy.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution design, development, and deployment lifecycle.
Walk with product teams in the whole product lifecycle and stages.
Conduct WAF (Web Application Firewall) review.
Ensure the proposed solutions are aligned with the organization's IT strategy, standards, and best practices.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational manuals.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends, and share expertise with the team.
5+ years of Experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
~ Extensive knowledge of Azure services, including computing, storage, networking, security, and data services.
~ Proficient in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure Azure-based solutions.
~ Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure DevOps, and other Azure management tools, as well as Terraform and Python.
~ Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns, the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
Education and Training:
~ Bachelor's Degree: In information technology, or a related field.
Certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) are highly desirable.
Spanish: Very good Business Spanish required (excellent communication skills). English: Very good Business English required (excellent communication skills). European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite.
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, as internal employee.
Work from home: Hybrid working model including the possibility of working from home (70%) but according to the specific needs that may arise from the perspective of project development, department, clients, and/or partners. xsgfvud
