Role Purpose
As part of the Market Legal team, support the One Unilever Europe markers with legal research, analysis and operational tasks as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files; submit documents to official entities; support the management and administration of contracts; simplify and innovate, supporting the use of technology to improve legal services; engage with and support other lawyers across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate terms and conditions with third parties, influencing them to accept Unilever’s standard templates or negotiating the use of their templates with changes that suit Unilever’s interests.
* Ensure adequate schedules are included in supplier contracts to manage and address contract risk.
* Interact with the One Unilever Europe legal team that owns contract expertise to ensure that up‑to‑date versions of clauses, templates, and schedules are used.
* Make recommendations to enhance the end‑user experience on the CLM tool and drive efficiency through process reengineering.
* Understand changes to standard clauses, highlight deviations and risks when outside standard clauses.
* ensure the organisation's internal contract document templates are accurate and up to date.
* Identify opportunities to improve current contract processes and devise implementation plans.
* Support the development and management of stakeholder relationships within Unilever and with key third parties, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, Digital Marketing, HR, Data Protection Officers and other businesses.

Qualifications
* Professional qualification in Law.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Professional experience (1‑3years PQE) practicing law in a law firm or corporate legal department.
* Strong communication skills.
* Willingness and drive for process excellence.
* Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally under pressure.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including the creation of graphical presentations.
* Excellent project management skills and ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and highly team‑oriented.
* Excellent written skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work and respond positively in a client‑led culture, and work with colleagues across multiple time‑zones.
* Preferable experience within a consumer goods or retail environment and understanding of procurement and legal aspects of supplier relationships.
