More information: our office in Barcelona, we are looking for a: Transport Planning Management Trainee (f/m/d) in Spain and reporting to the Transport Planning Management Supervisor.
Mission:
As a Transport Planning Management Trainee, you’ll organize and follow up multimodal transport planning (i.e. rail, road) so that the right asset is at the right place at the right cost and coordinate according to availabilities.
Functions:
* Book transport capacity
* Dispatch and create transport orders and gather delivery orders
* Negotiate spot purchase prices optimizing transport planning in cost and time
* Manage organization of trucks & rail and its schedules
* Follow up operations related to goods transportation up to the customer
* Issue self-billing reports and resolve discrepancies with suppliers
Required Skills:
* Strong understanding of customer needs and behaviors.
* Analytical mindset and business intelligence skills.
* Proactive
* Knowledge of pricing strategies.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
* Comfortable use of software tools and IT applications.
