Overview
The Global Clinical Development Physician is a key member of the Strategic Clinical team within Global Clinical Development. This role involves providing medical input and support to clinical study teams for specific development projects, aligned with clinical development strategies, Target Product Profiles (TPP), and labeling, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and under supervision of a Global Clinical Program Lead (GCPL) or line manager.
The physician may deputize as GCPL for parts of programs or low-complexity projects, serving as the primary clinical / medical accountability for the studies.
Core Responsibilities
* Support the GCPL and Clinical Development Scientist (CDS) in designing clinical development plans and studies.
* Act as backup and perform GCPL responsibilities under supervision for defined tasks.
* Assist in the development of study protocols, amendments, and related documents in collaboration with GCPLs and CDS.
* Review scientific content of protocols, amendments, CSRs, ICFs, CRFs, and other key documents.
* Support the GCPL as a member of the Global Project Team.
* Provide medical support during study conduct, addressing questions from Ethics Committees and investigators.
* Lead medical data reviews, including eligibility and safety data.
* Support protocol deviation reviews and study delivery in partnership with Clinical Operations.
* Assist in data analysis, review, and publication content once studies are completed.
* Build relationships with external KOLs.
Required Education and Experience
* Medical degree; specialty in dermatology is a plus.
* Experience in clinical studies, either as investigator or industry / CRO experience.
* Fluency in English and proficiency with MS Office.
