FrontEnd Engineer
position.What is the purpose/mission of the position?The mission of this role is to
collaboratively develop and implement front-end solutions
for business units across ten countries, ensuring local teams are actively involved and capable of maintaining and evolving the products post-deployment. This position emphasizes knowledge transfer, architectural input for reusable solutions, and the education of team members to foster a cohesive, organization-wide vision for front-end development.What are the tasks that you’ll perform?You will collaborate with colleagues to
build front-ends and applications for BU’s
in the 10 countries where Nationale Nederlanden International is activeBesides building products, you will also
ensure the local teams are involved in the process
and will be able to further develop the product and provide support when you leave.Knowledge transfer
is a key element of the projects.Provide input to the architecture
of the front-end solutions, with a focus on reuse in other BU’s (via the Inner-source way of working)Educate squad members and technical leads through training and individual support.Create a fluid, end-to-end vision
for front ends through the organizationDesign, document, construct and deploy
effective front-end architectures
and applicationsYou develop, iterate and maintain unified component libraries and documentation for both (native) mobile apps as well as (responsive) web in which you incorporate standards with regards to accessibility and code qualityYou pro-actively contribute to the strategic approach to the eco system based on your expertise to ensure we are future-proofYou make sure deployment of software increments are tested and automated through CI/CD pipelinesWhat are we looking for?Experience in
building high quality software forms
the basis for collaboration with UX designers and engineers.Experience in working with
Agile scrum teamsTake responsibility for feature development / projectExperience in
Git
(Azure DevOps preferred, but not required)Experience in
pipelines, package management and unit- and integration testing .CI/CD through Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.Written and verbal communications skills in EnglishExcellent organizational and analytical abilities.Experience with
designing flexible components
