How you'll make an impact
* Develop advisory projects for System Studies in the electricity sector, supporting utilities, generators, and other stakeholders to address regulatory, economic, and electricity challenges.
* Support utilities in improving operational efficiency, evaluating renewable integration impacts, assessing new actors in the electrical ecosystem, and implementing sustainability measures.
* Participate in consulting assignments using established standards, methods, and technologies to develop solutions and resolve issues.
* Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with internal and external customers to support profitable growth and satisfaction.
* Support business development and marketing/sales activities by clarifying technical inquiries, analyzing feedback, and proposing solutions.
* Identify opportunities for new and repeat consulting business, and facilitate information exchange through networking.
* Engage in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, financial and risk management, ensuring delivery as per contracts.
* Uphold core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
* Create value for customers and the organization, ensuring successful outcomes through effective sales and negotiation techniques.
* Conduct risk and opportunity assessments to ensure project delivery as per agreements.
* Lead the creation of new processes and tools by studying advanced techniques, coaching, and developing colleagues.
Your background
* Master's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or similar; advanced degrees preferred.
* Over 8 years of experience in power systems studies, with consulting expertise.
* Knowledge of the electric power industry, markets, systems, and equipment.
* Proficiency in power system modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools like PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, EMTP, PSCAD, RTDS.
* Experience with areas like transmission, renewable energy, offshore, hydrogen, industry, sustainability, energy markets, BESS, FACTS, HVDC, e-mobility, smart cities, and protections.
* Skills in developing user-defined models in software tools using Python, Fortran, DSL, NPL, or similar languages; knowledge of digital solutions like AI, databases, and data analytics is valued.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
