Supervises the activities of the Casino gaming table, including Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice, and related services, by performing the following essential duties:
Hiring Requirements:
1. Minimum of three (3) years dealer experience with Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice, and other related table games. (Shipboard experience preferred)
2. Ability to perform mental arithmetic calculations quickly involving monetary units and calculating odds and percentages.
3. Ability to make decisions based on sound judgment regarding gaming rules and regulations.
4. Ability to observe and recognize payout accuracy, dealer behavior, and related activities.
5. Satisfactory completion of Gaming Board/Commission-approved dealer school.
6. Ability to utilize customer service skills by exercising authority and discretion to satisfy guests in a manner consistent with Celebrity Connections standards.
7. Knowledge of policies and practices involved in human resources functions. Ability to supervise an international team of dealers positively and productively by motivating, developing, and managing employees. Ability to utilize and administer disciplinary actions through coaching and counseling to improve performance or recommend termination.
8. Ability to learn the financial aspects of a casino operation, including identifying expense reduction opportunities through cost control. Demonstrated aptitude for managing headcount within the area to support the vessel's business needs.
9. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
10. Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, and related programs.
11. Completion of high school or GED required;
university degree preferred.
