Overview
Join our MMST ITSM Platform team as an ITSM Engineer, where you will play a key role in the configuration, development, and support of our IT Service Management (ITSM) tool – Ivanti Neurons. You will work in a dynamic technical support environment, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure our ITSM platform meets the evolving needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, and support the Ivanti Neurons ITSM system.
- Integrate ITSM solutions with other enterprise systems and tools.
- Define and implement ITSM processes based on ITIL best practices.
- Act as a liaison between MediaMarktSaturn and third-party tool vendors, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Drive strategic planning for standardization and continuous improvement of the ITSM environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain service offering and reporting solutions within the ITSM platform.
- Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and interfaces related to ITSM.
- Ensure all development work adheres to agile methodologies and company standards.
- Produce custom documentation and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate as a technical team member on IT projects, supporting onboarding and integration of new products and services.
- Participate in installation, development, documentation, migration, and performance tuning of the ITSM architecture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for ITSM tooling within the organization.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on Ivanti Neurons and related ITSM technologies.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with ITSM tools (e.G., Ivanti Neurons, ServiceNow, Cherwell, BMC Remedy).
- Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and best practices (ITIL).
- Experience with system integration, configuration, and support.
- High proficiency in office applications (MS Excel, Word, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience with HTML, XML, and web services.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Good to Have
- ITIL certification or formal ITSM training.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and writing SQL queries.
- Previous experience working with Ivanti Neurons specifically.
