We’re seeking a Junior Brand Manager to join our Marketing Ice Cream team at our Barcelona office. In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, you will lead snacking initiatives for our Spain Ice Cream Business across OOH and IH channels.
As Jr Brand Manager, you will own the full scope of initiatives for the Cornetto brand & licenses, including portfolio management, innovation, communication, and pricing strategy for Spain. You will lead local innovation & renovation projects and execute global launches in Spain. Additionally, you will analyze performance and, together with the Senior Brand Manager, help craft and deliver the platform strategy.
You will collaborate with stakeholders such as Planning, R&D, Finance, Regional & Global marketing teams, and Agencies. You will also work with trade marketing teams to develop POS execution plans.
This role offers a holistic view of innovation management, brand strategy, and channel activation. You will be a key member of your brand team, providing strategic insights on performance and addressing category gaps or activation needs to ensure solid results.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
* Lead business plans and brand activation for Snacking initiatives, including In-Home and Out of Home (Sandwiches, sticks, bars, bites, licenses).
* Manage P&L initiatives.
* Drive Innovation & Renovation projects, both local and EU-wide.
* Propose brand activities and measurable objectives, monitor brand performance, and recommend solutions to meet targets.
* Conduct brand audits, Jobs to be done, Activity plans, Scorecards, and in-market pricing analyses.
* Manage the Snacking budget end-to-end, including project allocations.
* Contribute to volume forecasting, financial updates, and monitor key brand performance indicators (6P’s).
* Participate in and prepare for internal meetings such as brand & project reviews, sales meetings, and customer plans.
* With the Senior Brand Manager, define short- and long-term strategies for the brand across channels, with P&L responsibility.
* Set national brand KPIs with Trade and develop relevant plans for key customers and channels.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
* University degree, preferably in business.
* Strong interest in holistic marketing, innovation management, and 360 brand activation.
* Proactive attitude and a doer mindset.
* Analytical skills for rigorous brand analysis.
* Entrepreneurial spirit and team-oriented approach.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
* 2+ years’ experience in FMCG, especially in Brand Building, Development, Innovation, Category Management, Trade Marketing, or Sales.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
